Flood Proof is made for people in Louisiana who suffered the 2016 flood. It helps those who have a home, but who don't have legal proof that they own their home. For example, if you inherited your home, but you never officially transferred title to your name.
If you need to prove that you own a home left to you by a loved home who passed away, you may need legal help. This is especially important after a disaster. Proving you own your home is necessary to qualify for FEMA, loans, insurance, or other rebuilding funds.
Use Flood Proof to assemble key information and documents together, and then determine if you are eligible for free legal assistance from a local service provider.
